The Point Isabel ISD Board of Trustees and Superintendent Capistran are spreading holiday cheer early this year! They’ve approved a $1,000 retention stipend for all employees who started before August 31, 2024, and a $250 stipend for those who joined after.
Today, Superintendent Capistran made the season extra special by personally hand-delivering these stipends to the hardworking Point Isabel ISD staff! 🎄

The College & Career Readiness Department welcomed Anna Muñivez, Workforce Solutions Cameron Career Education Outreach Specialist, to Port Isabel Junior High School for a soft skills presentation. Students engaged in interactive activities to develop essential workplace skills, preparing them for future career success. This workshop, part of a Partnership Agreement between Point Isabel ISD and Workforce Solutions Cameron, ensures students gain valuable career awareness, employability skills, and insights into in-demand industries in Cameron County. #CollegeCareerReady #TarponStrong

Tarpon Spotlight - Morris Jude
Congratulations to Morris Jude, PIHS Class of 2015 alumnus, on his new feature film Be Careful What You Say, which premieres on Lifetime Movie Networks (LMN) Thursday December 12th at 8/7c. This is his second film to be released this year, his previous being Demise (2024), which is currently available to stream on Amazon Prime. Way to represent Port Isabel in Los Angeles! #TarponProud
