Port Isabel ECHs Law Enforcement Practicum class participated in the National Night Out at South Padre Island. They were serving popcorn and snow cones along with hotdogs.

This past Saturday, the Silver Tarpon Band traveled to Robstown for the Crossroads Marching Festival where 29 bands from 2A to 5A competed against each other. Out of the 29 bands, Port Isabel ECHS received 2nd place 4A Drum Majors, 2nd place 4A Percussion, 1st place 4A Band, and Runner-Up (2nd place) Grand Champions of the entire competition! We are extremely proud of the hard work and continued commitment our students keep showing. They have excelled in the classroom and beyond! Thank you for your continued support of our students and staff.

🎉🎉This past weekend on Saturday October 5th, the Silver Tarpon Band competed at the La Feria Invitational marching contest. The students put on an amazing performance and received multiple awards for their show. They received 2nd place Color Guard, 2nd place Percussion, 1st place Drum Majors, and 1st place Overall Grand Champions of the contest! We are extremely proud of all of our students and how they have grown as performers and musicians as well as taking care of their responsibilities in the classroom. Thank you for all your continued support for all of our band students!🎉🎉

🎉🎉Our Tarpons and Lady Tarpons traveled to Donna North High School to take the title of 2024 Team Champions of the RGVCCCA Meet of Champions! Go Tarpons!🎉🎉
Today, the Lady Tarpon JV teams took down Hidalgo in two sets respectively.
The varsity team played with immense heart and determination to take down the two-time defending district champions and current undefeated team in district play. Regardless of the set backs, they played with grit and took Hidalgo to 5 sets and ended their undefeated winning streak.
All three teams won and are keeping their eye on the prize.
